Homecoming: What to expect.
Babies come home at 8 weeks old. (Some will require 10 weeks if underweight.)
All babies come tails docked and dewclaws removed.
Immunizations are done at 6 weeks of age and you will be provided with a shot record as well as information for the vet office.
"Go Home" BAG
They will come home with a "Go Home" bag. This will include but not limited to: recommended teething rings and toys, small handmade blanket that smell like fur mom, AKC/CKC registration paperwork. (I can walk you through the process), shot record, a small bag of Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy food (I purchase mine at Tractor Supply) and a few small toys, and a Bill of Sale.
FOOD
Babies are eating Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy. You will receive a small bag of this food in your "Goodie" bag to help you transition into the food you prefer. However, I do highly recommend this brand. All of my yorkies have done very well on it. If you do decide to switch there is a process to make it easier for their stomachs to transition. Ask me how.
DEPOSITS
If the baby you want is not available to come home yet, a deposit will be required in order hold the baby until they are old enough. Deposits are NOT refundable. This ensures that you are committed and that if anything happens and you can’t complete payment, I will have the funds to advertise and find another mom/dad. Balance must be paid in full before homecoming.
I understand that there are 'scammers' out there and the idea of sending someone you don't know well, money can make you nervous.
I have references from previous litters that I would be more than happy to put you in contact with.
Also, a deposit is not required. You are more than welcome to wait until their available date and if they are still available, you are free to purchase and take them home.
Payments that are accepted: Good Dog, Cash, money order, or cashier's check, Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp. No Personal Checks accepted.
